🍉 roasted Peaceful Pork with a caciotta-filled hatch chile and watermelon molé
Don’t miss out or you’ll have to wait another year for the good ones to come around.

Serving up a summer bucket list: cold wine, grilled fish with tomatoes, zesty crudo and the quintessential sound of cicadas in the trees. Don’t hate me for saying it, but I LOVE Texas summer! 🌞

New bottles to the list this week, and in limited supply, from .garrido.vino and Anne Pichon. Along with our selections, I’m focusing on producers from high elevation sites this week. With vibrant acidity and energetic, they all have their own personality, but pair oh-so-well with style of hot weather food: spicy, spiced and brothy.
We have a few of these open and are pouring glasses this week only. Drop by to try them, and you’ll be rewarded for your efforts. 💫

Lenoir, located on S 1st Street in Austin, is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience. As a New American restaurant, Lenoir understands the importance of eating right for the season and climate. They have coined the term "Hot Weather Food" to describe their approach to cuisine.
The concept behind Hot Weather Food is fascinating. Lenoir recognizes that living in a hot climate like Texas requires a different kind of culinary approach. Drawing inspiration from cultures that thrive in hot regions, Lenoir's menu features dishes that are acidic, citrusy, brothy, and spicy. By keeping the use of butter, cream, and gluten to a minimum, they create light and refreshing meals that perfectly complement the heat.
