Ah, Valencia! The city where the sun decides to throw an all-day party in the sky, turning every summer afternoon into a sauna, but also a magical light show.
We had the pleasure of wandering around La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, which honestly feels like stepping into a futuristic science fiction movie—except, in this version, we’re also in the middle of the Mediterranean.
The buildings look like something out of a dream, and it’s hard to decide whether you’re more impressed by the architecture or the sheer fact that it’s almost impossible to take a bad photo here.
And then... the perfect remedy after all that culture and sun: a refreshing horchata.
For those who haven’t tried it yet, it’s like Valencia’s version of a hug in a glass. Cool, sweet, and just the thing to bring your body temperature back down after basking in the eternal sunshine.
It’s one of those drinks that makes you feel like you’re in on a local secret—except everyone here knows it’s the best way to beat the heat.
So, if you’re in Valencia, expect two things: sun that’s a little too intense at times, and light that will make you want to live here forever. Plus, don’t forget the horchata! You’ll be sipping it like a true Valencian in no time. ❤️🫶🏻

Today we were visiting the house I grew up in Paiporta, Valencia ❤️
I feel a weird mix of nostalgia and gratitude.
From Grandma’s legendary paella lessons, to my parents’ unwavering guidance, every corner of this place holds a story.
It’s true what they say: the best memories always seem to gather right around the family table.
Feeling very lucky and blessed for all those years and memories…and also a little bit teary-eyed (in a good way!).
