Dear loyal woko fans:

We want to inform you that our current location is CLOSED.
🚪
After months of struggling and barely surviving these challenging times, we can no longer continue to operate in our current location.
😷
We were just a year old when the pandemic started, we didn't have a big customer base yet and that made surviving the pandemic very challenging. We have been doing our best and managed to keep running until now, we simply ran out of cash to operate. Our current location is too expensive and financially unsustainable with our current sales volume.

We want to thank everyone in this community! From our most loyal customers to the ones who tried us a few times, thank you for your continued support over the past two years. Serving and connecting with you every day kept us going enthusiastic.
We feel deeply appreciative and grateful for all of you.

This is a temporary farewell, we will find a way to return from the ashes and see you again. We think our best bet will be to "shrink" and restart on a food truck later this year.

COMPANY AND CULTURE DESCRIPTION:
Woko Loco is a fast casual restaurant focused on customizable stir fry noodle boxes. The possible combinations are endless and the result is a meal consisting of the perfect balance of vegetables, proteins, and grains. Our food is displayed raw in front of the customer and cooked to order at the moment. As it should be, it can’t get any fresher than that. The final product is a meal that’s both nutritious and delicious.
We believe in providing a joyful and enriching experience in a place that radiates positive vibes and inspires people to live with meaning and appreciation. A restaurant is a place where hundreds of interactions take place each day, and we embrace the opportunity to touch people's lives, enrich them and create a ripple of positivity through serving simple, natural and delicious food.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Line servers bridge the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that the food is out and the guests are happy. Our line servers are always organized, calm, and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure their guests have the best experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Welcoming guests with a smile
• Delivering food orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner
• Communicating regularly with and responding promptly and courteously to all guest requests
• Providing exemplary service to include refilling beverages and clearing tables
• Responding sincerely and appropriately to guest requests
• Thanking guests and inviting them back when leaving as well as inquiring about their dining
experience
• Performing opening and closing duties
• Maintaining a professional, composed, and calm demeanor always
• Properly setting up and taking down station
• Cutting and portioning raw foods
• Properly labeling, dating and filling pans
• Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining refrigerators, cooler drawers, and dry storage areas
• Stocking/restocking items
• Communicating with fellow staff members to ensure quality product and ticket times
• Adjusting to high-pressure situations
• Understanding and complying with food safety and temperature standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current Food Handler certificate
• Ability to carry at least 30 lbs.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, squat and lift while on the shift
• Able to multitask and organize
