I’ve gotten some pushback for using AI to assist with my display menus. I think people sometimes assume using AI means someone is taking shortcuts. The reality is quite the opposite.

Running a catering and event business means I’m responsible for inventory, ordering, menu planning, food prep, scheduling staff, contracts, customer communication, cleaning, loading and unloading trailers, setup, teardown, bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, and then working long days at the actual events. There’s so much that happens in business ownership that customers don’t see.

If using AI helps me create a poster in 20 minutes instead of spending three hours designing one, that’s three more hours I can spend serving customers, creating new items, or getting some much needed sleep. It’s simply another business tool, just like Canva, Square, or accounting software.

The posters don’t make my creations, cater the events, or take care of my customers. They just help me communicate what I offer. Every recipe, every menu, and every event is still my work.

We all use technology, all day long, to save us time. No one’s walking their clothes down to the creek to wash them, putting a dime in a pay phone, or cooking every meal over a wood burning stove.

So, please, show some grace and understanding for everything we do to bring fun new items and exceptional customer service to every event.

Available in original or any combination of our latte flavors, we can your drink fresh to order. The more you shake the can the more blended your drink will be. Or, pop the top and eat it with a spoon. Delicious either way!
