You already know what happy hour is. We’re doing it the Italian way.
Wednesday we launch aperitivo hour — $7 cocktails, half-off wine and beer, food specials made in-house. Every day, 3 to 6. No occasion needed.

Our meatballs simmer in a marsala pan sauce, not the red sauce you are picturing. Wine, butter, and a little patience. It is the dinner we would order ourselves. Tonight on South Lamar.

Who says date night has to wait for the weekend?
Start with an antipasti board, fall more in love, and stay for just “one more” spritz🍹

The Spurs are down 3-1, so Game 5 tonight is win or go home. We are turning it on, tip-off 7:30. Pull up to the patio, fuel up on the good stuff, and keep the season alive with the neighborhood. Too hot to leave the couch? Order online for pickup or delivery: https://order.toasttab.com/online/uncle-nickys-south-lamar Win or lose, dinner is on point. South Lamar.

A lot of places call it housemade. We just call it lunch. The Porchetta, on focaccia we baked this morning.

If you order one thing, make it the meatballs in marsala. Slow-cooked, made from scratch, on the menu lunch and dinner.

What people say
Uncle Nicky’s on S Lamar Boulevard delivers a relaxed, all-day neighborhood dining experience with the warm, approachable feel of Northern Italian cafes. It’s the kind of spot that makes it easy to drop in for something comforting and satisfying, whether you’re stopping by for lunch or settling in for dinner.
The menu leans into classic Italian favorites with plenty of flavor and personality. Basil pesto pasta stands out as a go-to comfort dish, while tiramisu offers a sweet finish that feels just right after a long day. For brunch and beyond, options like the garibaldi bring bright citrus energy without feeling fussy, and the garlicky richness of dishes like kale e tartufo (with prosciutto) shows real attention to balance and indulgence.
If you’re hungry for something hearty, pepperoni piadina is a crowd-pleaser—hot, loaded with mozzarella and pepperoni, and served with red sauce on the side for maximum enjoyment. And when you want something shareable or snackable with big flavor payoff, their patio-friendly vibe pairs perfectly with favorites like the mambo sando.
Overall, Uncle Nicky’s feels welcoming from start to finish: casual atmosphere, solid Italian comfort food done well, and enough variety to keep repeat visits interesting.
