You might not sit down on the patio planning to be here until dark, but that’s how most regulars get their start. Today we got to spend time with Chris McGill and we loved every minute!

On Wednesdays it gets easier to say yes to that second glass. W**e Down Wednesday means 50% off glasses and bottles of w**e, all day.

Two pizzas on the table. One of them is half off. That is the whole pitch.
On Monday nights at Baretto, order one specialty pizza and the second one is half off. They come out of the brick oven, which gives the crust the kind of char that is hard to fake at home. A Margherita makes a good first pick. Something with more going on, like the Tuscan Truffle with prosciutto and arugula, makes a good second.

National Pasta Day is Saturday, which is cute, because great pasta at Baretto Bistro shows up daily.
Baretto is a neighborhood Italian spot in Austin, TX, with pasta always on the menu, from Fettuccine Bolognese to Mushroom Truffle Fettucine in truffle cream. Order a plate, add w**e by the glass or a craft cocktail, and take a seat on the pet friendly patio. There’s a fireplace for the cooler evenings.
Saturday hours are 4 to 9. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6, for anyone who wants a weekday pasta night instead. Brick oven pizza is on the menu too.
Nobody here needed the reminder, but Saturday makes a good excuse anyway. Welcome home.
