To All my valued Customers, Family, and Friends:
It is with deep regret and a sad, sad heart that I notify you that Roland’s Soul Food Restaurant, located at 1311 Chestnut Avenue will be permanently closing on November 26th, 2022.
We have provided high-quality home style Soul Food for over 13 years. We’ve also been an enthusiastic part of the local community but given the changing economy and Austin’s rapid growth as well as changing demographics the restaurant must close.
Thank you for making Roland’s Soul Food one of Austin’s most popular eating establishments and allowing us to provide
“Good Food for Good People”. I have enjoyed serving this beautiful city; and the countless people I have met from all of the world.
We will be celebrating our last month in business by bringing back our menu classics!
We will be at Roland’s on Sunday November 27th from
noon - 3pm to say our farewells & fellowship you are welcome to attend at any time.

To get to Chestnut Avenue in Austin, you have a few options for public transport and driving/parking:
Public Transport:
1. Bus: Take the #10 bus towards Chestnut Avenue. Get off at the nearest bus stop on Chestnut Avenue. Walk a short distance to reach your destination.
Driving/Parking:
1. From downtown Austin: Head east on 6th Street and continue onto East Cesar Chavez Street. Turn left onto Chicon Street and continue straight until you reach Chestnut Avenue. Look for available street parking near your destination.
2. From Interstate 35 (I-35): Take exit 234C toward Airport Boulevard/12th-11th-6th Streets. Merge onto Interstate 35 Frontage Road Northbound and turn right onto East 12th Street. Continue straight until you reach Chicon Street, then turn left onto Chicon Street. Finally, turn right onto Chestnut Avenue and find parking nearby.
Remember to check for any parking restrictions or fees before leaving your vehicle unattended.
