The Cowboy is back! We usually open our stores on Sunday but seeing as it’s for baseball it just felt right. Opening today at 12pm at our new location on East 7th with a limited menu to get back in it. See y’all there.

Farewell.

Tomorrow we will close the original Flyrite Chicken on East 7th Street. While we will still be serving chicken around Austin, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions to say goodbye to the place where it all started. After 9 years of operations there are too many people to thank that have played a hand in us making it this far, so we will do our best to group them together.

Thank you to the team. From those who helped create and shape the brand, to those that have stood with us until today, you will always have a place in our hearts.

Thank you to the friends and guests. We started with a philosophy of being a table for the community that had a place for everyone and we believe we achieved that at 7th Street.

2. From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport: Take TX-71 W from Presidential Blvd and E State Hwy 71 Service Rd. Merge onto TX-71 W and continue until you reach I-35 N/US-290 E. Keep left at the fork to continue on I-35 N, following signs for Waco. Take exit 239-240A toward St Johns Ave/Anderson Ln/Burnet Rd. Merge onto N Interstate Hwy 35 Frontage Rd and turn right onto E Anderson Ln/Burnet Rd. Continue on Burnet Road until you find parking near your destination.
