September is Bourbon Month! 🥃
There’s certainly an ebb and flow to the spirits that excite folks. In recent years, we’ve noticed the demand for gin and tequila expand quite a lot. It’s time that we get back to our roots a little bit and September is the perfect opportunity to re-discover our stellar American whiskey list.
DrinkWell has kicked out some terrific and delicious original Bourbon cocktails over the years. We’re pulling our favorite DW legacy recipes out of the archives with a
‘Best of Bourbon’ menu that will rotate every week, all featuring some of our favorite Bourbon & American whiskey brands.
Tickets are also on sale NOW for our annual Libation Bible School American Whiskey masterclass: Sunday, September 20th. If you’re new to Bourbon or a true aficionado, this is avery special way to experience DrinkWell. for tickets; we are already almost half-way sold out so don’t miss it.

DrinkWell is proud to join restaurants across the city for the next 2 weeks in supporting the Central Texas Food Bank with Austin Restaurant Weeks .
We may not be a ‘restaurant’ in the traditional sense, but you know our kitchen always comes correct and we never pass up the opportunity to pour back into our community.
What’s cooking? Coffee-rubbed pork loin with sweet potato puree, roasted cauliflower and hazelnut butter + your choice of a Tito's Handmade Vodka Gimlet or House Martini, all for just $30. DrinkWell is donating $5 from every special sold back to the CTFB.

Bartender Olly L. understood the assignment with this one. This is a summer Negroni that balances the familiar with the unusual.
Acid-adjusted Concord grape juice and a blend of two unique aperitifs connects the dots between Gin’s crisp botanicals and Cognac’s lush warmth. A quick-pickled grape snack attack is the perfect bite when the last sip is gone.

THURSDAYS | Schtnitz’ & Gigglers have become *THE* vibe on Thursday nights. $18 summer schnitzel plates with your choice of FORDS GIN cocktail. We’re selling out damn near every week so arrive early if you can.

The secret word of the year is: WHISKY. You all know what to do whenever someone says the secret word right?? 👀
You can say a lot of things but you can never say we’ve lost our sense of humor. We try to balance all these serious (and delicious) cocktails with a dose of fun. See also: Bartender Olly’s zany and delicious summer highball on the menu: the ‘Kiwi Herman’ made with green kiwi shrub, lychee liqueur, citrus, soda, and a healthy dose of Scotch…..WHISKY. Aaaaaarrrghhhhh!!
Pro-tip: go hit up PREACHER GALLERY Pee-Wee Herman group art show “I Know You Are But What Am I?” and then scoot up here to North Loop for a cocktail. The show is only in town until July 16th but this drink will be on our menu all summer long!

We are SO back, baby! Kicking off a totally tubular ’Tuesday Night Agave Social’ theme for the month of July. This month, showcasing the delicious bottles on our back bar that are produced in Jalisco’s lowland valley. The volcanic soil in this growing region leads to tequilas that are uniquely earthy, vegetal, peppery and maybe even a little be funky.
