Well.......it's finally here. We finally got our walking papers.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing and relocation of our beloved Stars Cafe or as much of you call it: Star Seeds. We have been a cherished part of the Austin community for the past 58 years. As many of you know, the Interstate 35 expansion has led us to make this difficult decision.

Stars Cafe has always been more than just a place to eat; it has been a gathering spot of the Amazing and the not so amazing, a haven for friends and families and mortal enemies, and a backdrop for countless memories and "I can't believe that happened" times.

Whether you loved us, hated us, were sick of us, or would give up a spleen to see us remain, we appreciate you for ever gracing your presence through our doors.

As we prepare for this new chapter, we want to say thank you to each and every one of you. Over the Next 30 Days, We hope to give you one last pancake or One last Cup of Coffee or one last Chicken Fried Steak that you will cherish (Except the guy who broke our sink in 86'......Yes we still remember you....and the girl who Broke our Sink in 08'.........You probably shouldn't come back either unless you come with a new sink)

Thank you for 58 wonderful years. We look forward to creating new memories with you in our new home and will announce plans after November 10th for our new location.
