As we pack up things in Kalamazoo, we ran across the first drawing of the Rollin’ Gelato logo. This was done by our daughter, Naya, to help us come up with a brand image. Along with the help of John’s sister and Gabe, we fine tuned the concept, digitized it, and a way we went with our current rg logo and icon. Good memories.

In Slumber: We made the decision to be closed this year, with all that is going on in the environment, and with our focus on another business (a resort). We have missed the interaction with our customers, and seeing people smile when they eat a spoonful of gelato made from scratch. The VW buses (Strawberry is the bus pictured) are sleeping in safe places and awaiting the time to come back to the marketplace.

We wish everyone a safe and healthy time during this time of upheaval in each one of our lives. Gelato Gelato Sorbet. Until things settle down and get back to a level of stability, hang tight and be supportive of each other.

Good day Rollin' Gelato fans. We are back in Kalamazoo. We shall be available for the next two weeks to execute commitments/events for our customers. We like to share that thereafter, we are closing for the 2019 season in Kalamazoo. Major good changes have occurred within our family: many of you, friends and family, know already that John Mueller of Rollin' Gelato bought the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge (one mile South of Copper Harbor, MI). Lately, large changes were done to improve the look, feel, and functionality of the lodge, which was opened to the public on May 9th, 2019.

Widad Mueller recently decided to stop the operations of Rollin' Gelato in Kalamazoo for 2019 effective June 26th and will be heading as a family to the UP to join John and participate with the activities of the Lodge.

We will be available for the next two weeks at Kalamazoo Farmers' Market on Saturdays and Texas Corner on Tuesdays. We plan to participate in the Kalamazoo Farmers' Market Night on Thursday, June 20th. Hope to see you there.

This is not farewell, it's simply a goodbye for now in Kalamazoo. Follow us in our new adventure as a family on the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge page.

To get to the location on Scenic Drive in Austin, you can take the public bus route 20 and get off at the stop near the intersection of Scenic Drive and Westover Road. From there, it's a short walk to the location.

If you're driving, take Loop 360 and exit at Westover Road. Turn onto Scenic Drive and look for parking along the street or in nearby parking lots. Please note that parking may be limited during peak hours.
