Let's re-introduce ourselves: Translated as ‘The Ugly,’ the name Il Brutto is a nod to the iconic Spaghetti Western film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Located in east Austin, Il Brutto is a neighborhood Italian spot dedicated to serving authentic Italian cuisine with a focus on handmade pastas, pizzas & breads.

This menu represents the cuisine of Italy as a whole, from Mediterranean flavors of the south to central lamb dishes and beef tenderloin from the north. Our dishes are respectful of tradition and that starts with fresh ingredients and classic techniques.

Italian restaurants are known for their delicious food, warm atmosphere, and impeccable service. Il Brutto on E 6th Street in Austin is no exception. This neighborhood Italian restaurant is dedicated to serving authentic Italian cuisine that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.

One of the best things about Il Brutto is their outdoor patio. It's the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a meal with friends on a sunny day. Their frozen spritz is a must-try, especially during their happy hour from 4-6 pm when all alcohol is half off.

Il Brutto also offers live music every Tuesday from 7-9 pm, adding to the already vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. And if you're looking to expand your cocktail knowledge, they offer cocktail education classes where you can learn about their new beverages from their knowledgeable team.

But what really sets Il Brutto apart is their dedication to celebrating milestones with their customers. They recently celebrated their fifth anniversary with an evening of live music, frozen spritz, and spins by DJ Ferno. It's clear that Il Brutto values its customers and wants them to feel like part of the family.

Overall, Il Brutto is a fantastic Italian restaurant that offers great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a casual night out or a special occasion celebration, Il Brutto has something for everyone.
