1. From downtown Austin, head west on W Cesar Chavez St towards MoPac Expressway.
2. Merge onto TX-1 Loop S/MoPac Expressway via the ramp on the left.

4. Take the exit toward US-290/TX-71/Southwest Pkwy/Oak Hill.
5. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for US-290 W/Texas 71 W/Oak Hill/Bastrop.
6. Merge onto US-290 W/W Highway 290 and continue for approximately 8 miles.
