Haunted Shores is open seven days a week now, and there’s a new 6 PM slot just for the little ones. If your kids love Halloween but aren’t ready for the scary stuff, this is the time to go. Beachside Billy’s opens at 5 so you can grab dinner before the fun starts.

On the weekends, the Boogie Barges are running too, and those are an additional cost. Tickets and all the details are on the website, so check there before you head out.

It’s still hot out, but pool hours are over and it’s Haunted Shores time.

Same spot, very different vibe. It’s a 30 plus minute walk along the shore with scare sets, eerie encounters, and pirate and witch spirits popping out along the way. It’s family friendly, so you can pick the scare level that works for your crew.

Open Wednesday through Sunday in October, with time slots starting at 7 PM Wednesday and Thursday, 7 PM Friday, 6 PM Saturday, and 6 PM Sunday. The last slots are 9 PM Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 10 PM Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s 6 PM slot is a good one for littles. Tickets are $15 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 3 to 12, and free for 2 and under. Parking is $10 if you pre-book and $15 on site.

The BooGie Boat ride runs Fridays and Saturdays, goes around Starnes Island, and needs its own ticket. Beachside Billy’s opens at 5 PM, so come early, grab a table, and scan the QR code to order dinner or a spooky cocktail before your time slot.

Haunted Shores opens tonight and runs Wednesday through Sunday. Come early and start your night at happy hour at Beachside Billy’s at 5 PM, where you can grab drinks and food before you walk the trail.

The trail is time slotted, so you can pick your time and plan your night around it. On Friday and Saturday, the Boo-gie boat rides are also running, so make a weekend of it.

Save this map before you head out. It shows how the whole night is laid out, from the Forbidden Tiki Forest on one side to the Boo-gie Boat Rides down by the water. The Fire Pits of Scare and the Last Call Lounge sit right in the middle, so there’s a place to stop when everyone needs a minute. The map also points out spooky family friendly entertainment, which is good to know if your kids are on the fence about scary. Then pick which spot you’re brave enough to try first. Tag the friend who will get lost anyway.

Spooky season is here, and tickets for Haunted Shores are on sale now. We’re open Wednesday through Sunday through October 31. Doors open at 5 PM for happy hour food, themed drinks, and lakeside music, and then you head into the haunted trails at your time slot.

Entry times are 7, 8, and 9 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 7, 8, 9, and 10 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are free for ages 2 and under, $10 for ages 3 to 12, and $15 for ages 13 and up. Parking is $10 when you pre-book and $15 on site.

On Fridays and Saturdays, you can add the BOOgie Boat Ride, a haunted boat tour around Starnes Island on Lake Travis. Boats depart at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 PM, and each tour holds 50 guests, so book ahead. Kids 2 and under need their own ticket for the boat.

Tickets are sold in advance online, all sales are final, and no outside food or drinks are allowed.

Tonight is that perfect, crisp fall weather, which makes it a great night to come out and walk the haunted trails. Grab dinner at Beachside Billy’s before you go, then head over for the trail when you’re ready. Spooky season is on the shores of Lake Travis, and the second annual Haunted Shores runs through October 31. Walk the Forbidden Forest, where Bigfoot and shadowy creatures wait in the dark. Then find the sunken ship, where the Kraken’s restless captain is still on watch. Doors open at 5 pm, so come early for happy hour food, themed drinks, and lakeside music before your entry time. Stay after the trail for themed cocktails, live music, and Halloween cartoons for the kids. On Fridays and Saturdays, add the BOO-GIE Barge for a ghost story tour around Starnes Island. The walk-through is family friendly, so little ones get the spooky fun without the scary. Arrive early for dinner on the lake, with a kids menu for the little ones and glow-in-the-dark spooky drinks for the adults. Beachside Billy’s Halloween menu is here and it is stacked.

Start with the Witches Eye Balls or the Ghostly Wrapped Shrimp, then move into a Cursed Cowboy Burger, Billy’s BOO-GEY Mac, or the Reuben-stein.

Haunted Shores opens for the first time tonight, and the rain didn’t stop it. We’re heading out for a spooky evening and you should too. The Boogie Boat ride is postponed because of the weather, but it should be up and running next weekend. Beachside Billy’s will be open tonight for food and drinks, so you can grab a bite before you explore.
