On Sunday, September 6th, a fire broke out in the kitchen at Perla’s and was quickly contained thanks to the swift response of the Austin Fire Department and our Perla’s management team. Most importantly, no guests or team members were hurt, and everyone is safe.
Perla’s will be temporarily closed while we get everything cleaned up and ready to welcome you back. Stay tuned for reopening details.
Thank you so much to our Austin community for all the love and support. We’ll see you soon, back on South Congress under the old oak tree.

Seventeen years in and still bringing the boil!
Perla’s Annual Crawfish Boil had it all: incredible weather, perfectly seasoned crawfish, cold drinks, and a whole lot of good company under the old oak tree. A full-on burst of zydeco from lit the place up, with DJ keeping the energy high all afternoon. Huge thanks to our friends at for pulling it all together.

Seventeen years of crawfish and we keep getting louder.
Perla’s 17th Annual Crawfish Boil is back Sunday, May 3 with endless crawfish, boozy bevs, live music from , and DJ sets by .
11am to 4pm. Tickets at the door, first come, first served. $50 per person includes all you can eat crawfish and brews.
