Tomorrow, Saturday August 15th the queens are taking over again at Ovenbird ATX for our Bobs Burgers Drag brunch! 🍔🔥 And what kind of place would we be if we didn’t honor Bobs legacy, and do the the burger of the day? We’re featuring one Bob was particularly proud of - his Bet it all on Black Garlic burger. House-made bun, black garlic mayo, fresh spinach, mozzarella cheese and fresh ground chuck. Served with hand cut fries - obviously! This special is a drag exclusive! Burger will be available for one day only until sold out. During this tax free shopping weekend we will be doing a school supplies drive for Pleasant Hill Elementary! The school directly behind us! If you are school shopping today please consider buying an extra glue stick or spiral notebook. Bring it here so we can donate it directly to these kiddos!

Hey South Austin! We are looking for your support in aiding Pleasant Hill Elementary this school year. With the recent Austin ISD budget cuts, teachers and students need as much help as they can get. Pleasant Hill Elementary is for low income residents and most families use government programs to support themselves.
Please if you are out school supply shopping for tax free weekend, consider donating school supplies for these kiddos. These kids deserve to have a fully rounded education and the teachers shouldn’t have to use their own paychecks to cover their supplies.
Anything helps! We love you so much! Thank you South Austin!
