Specializing in delivering the world-famous Hainanese Chicken Rice to customers' doorsteps, the restaurant shared Singaporean Hawker cuisine with its loyal patrons. In October 2022, Chicken Rice Joe announced new menu additions including greens and chicken broth. Sadly, on November 13th, 2022, the business announced it would cease operation once all items had sold out. As of that day, Chicken Rice Joe has permanently closed its doors.

To get to the location on N Interstate in Austin, you can take the MetroBus route 801 and get off at the stop near the intersection of N Interstate and E Koenig Ln. Alternatively, you can drive and park in the nearby parking lot or on-street parking spots. From downtown Austin, take I-35 N and exit at Airport Blvd. Turn right onto Airport Blvd and continue straight until you reach E Koenig Ln. Turn left onto E Koenig Ln and then turn right onto N Interstate. The destination will be on your left-hand side.
