Despite facing challenges brought about by the recent freeze, Cenizo has managed to maintain its operation and serve the community from 6AM-4PM. With a commitment to consistency and a strong sense of gratitude towards both their crew and customers, Cenizo aims to continue providing excellent service throughout the year.

This local cottage bakery brings handcrafted croissants and pastries to our community, led by an Italian pastry chef with 10+ years of experience. European technique, quality ingredients, and amazing taste.

Admittedly, we aren’t always the best at telling the full story of what goes into a latte at Cenizo.

We use the word “community” a lot, and of course part of that is the spaces we help create and the people who gather there every day. But there’s also a lot happening behind the scenes too.

We’ve always believed a business in the community should support the community around it and just operate inside of it.

When you support Cenizo, you’re also supporting livable wages for our team, local Austin businesses we’re proud to source from, local bakers, florists, and tradesmen we partner with, school donations and sponsorships, neighborhood pop-ups, and flexible work opportunities in our community.

There’s a lot we’re proud of from these first 3 years, but these are have been our most fulfilling accomplishments.

There’s a lot of good packed into that latte. Thank ya’ll for making this possible and for supporting us, we promise to continue to support back 🤎

🍋‍🟩 JUST DROPPED… OUR NEW SEASONALS 🥥

The Coco Azul Latte and Carlota Matcha are here.

Both were dreamed up by Maya, who has been taking our seasonals to a new level from start to finish. She’s been creating, testing, and tweaking to bring you these seasonals. We’re super proud of her and the love she’s putting into these.

The Coco Azul Latte is creamy, coconutty, and refreshing. 🥥

The Carlota Matcha is bright, smooth, and inspired by the lime dessert a lot of us grew up around. 🍋‍🟩

We talk a lot about community, and part of that is making space for the people on our team to create, lead, and leave their fingerprints on what Cenizo becomes.

Maya did exactly that with these.

THREE YEARS AGO today we were getting ready for our very FIRST inspection….. the trailer still wasn’t even wrapped yet‼️shoutout

Back then Cenizo was just two words we believed in: community and quality

A TINY trailer, a LOT of long days, and doing things the hard way because we believed it made a difference

Who remembers the original (and MUCH smaller) trailer where we somehow had four people squeezed inside!?? 🤯

Looking out at what Union Park has become today, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come

We’re incredibly proud of where this started and deeply grateful to the neighbors who supported us since the beginning 🫶

And a big thank you to for creating the vision for Union Park and helping make this space something special for the whole community.

Grateful for the early days. Extra proud of where we are. And even more excited for what’s ahead.
